"Can't forget the year, 2017. It was the beginning of my healing journey that I had postponed for a long. Or rather I didn't know how to go about it. Thanks to Hidden Tears Kenya, a friend referred me to Lilian Muli whom I shared with my rape story. The very first I went public about it since it occurred (13 years later). Through the sharing thanks to Hidden Tears Kenya, we managed another interview with Y254 TV on the same matter. The more I shared, the better I felt. I can't thank Hidden Tears Kenya enough for helping me re-establish myself, my esteem and getting back to my feet. I'm forever indebted ... God bless Hidden Tears Kenya."
"I knew Hidden Tears Kenya through the founder Lilian Muli. When we met in a training she had attended, at first glance, she wore a character of a leader. I was lucky to be in the first cohort of the Mirror Me Programme which impacted me greatly. The topics were very eye-opening from befriending your shadow, to the child within, self-forgiveness and self-awareness. It really helped me trace my childhood to adulthood journey, loving the person I am and becoming, practising & living forgiveness and the essential skills in fully healing and attaining wellbeing."
"I am glad to have been a part of the Mirror Me Experience. It was an enlightening journey that has helped me learn how to intentionally cope with faces and sides of me I never knew affected my life and how I associate with those around me. Its been a blessing to be part of it and forever grateful."
"Yes, yes I had a great Mirror Me Experience and I would like to thank Hidden Tears Kenya for the opportunity to be part. I have been able to forgive myself and my Ex, and learn how to integrate resilience skills into my life. I'm 90% healed so far, still working on myself with a lot of hope and faith."
“September 2019 was one of my life-changing moments. I got an invitation to attend a Huduma bill policy hackathon at Nanyuki, Laikipia County. At the conference, I got to Learn a lot. We first underwent a brief training about the Huduma bill draft, I learnt how it would help me in the electoral process, Data protection safeguards among others. We then had round table discussions on the same where we gave our views on each clause of the Bill. This has helped me change my mindset towards life because I met my peers who were so informed and learnt more about communication skills and change my perspective through article reading which was a challenge posed by one of the peers. Since then I have been reading articles on different issues, which has made me more informed. My leadership skills have also been enhanced, having got a chance to serve as an Interim Secretary General in the student union of my school. Through the exposure I got, I was able to solve different issues with rightful solutions. Through the roundtable discussions we had about the Huduma bill, I also introduced round table discussions in my school being a peace Units programme club chairperson. We have been able to exchange ideas and also learn from each other on various issues. I also networked with different people like the LSK presidential candidate Ms. Maria Mbeneka who was the organizer and Wakesho who was among the organizers of the event. Thankyou Lawyers Hub, Ms Maria Mbeneka for the opportunity to participate in the highly insightful conference and above all Hidden Tears Kenya for linking us up – Laikipia team-to such a noble opportunity.”
